PRIVACY POLICY
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our service, the Numero App (Numero App).
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this policy (Privacy Policy).
We use your personal information for providing and improving the Numero App. By using the Numero App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at ietpl.com.au.
Information Collection
For individual/home subscriptions (Public Customers): While using our Numero App, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address (Personal Information).
We may also collect details of other interactions that you have with us, together with any other information that you choose to provide us with, for example, through your interactions with our customer and technical support teams. We will not collect any unnecessary Personal Information.
In the case of school/educational institution customers (School Customers), we provide licences that the School Customer provides to the students/teachers via their Registered Contact. Any names or passwords are not collected by NMPL, IETPL or our IT Provider. We DO NOT collect Personal Information from or about students.
In the case of Public Customers, we seek consent from the Public Customer at the time of purchasing and registering the product to use the information collected. Where the Public Customer is a minor, we ask that permission be provided by that person’s parent/legal guardian.
Information Use
We collect the above information for the purpose of providing the Numero App, identifying, and communicating with you, responding to your requests/enquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and improving our Numero Apps.
There are no chat rooms connected with this site and users cannot communicate directly with each other through the Numero App.
Any issues with accounts associated with a School Customer is dealt with between the School Customer representative and NMPL/IETPL or our IT Provider. There will be no direct communication between our companies and students.
Log Data
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Numero App (Log Data). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Numero App that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information to improve our Numero Apps for you.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. The Help feature on most browsers provide information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies or to notify you when receiving a new cookie.
If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some features of our Numero App and we recommend that you leave them turned on.
We do not use cookies or third party providers to engage in behavioural targeting of advertisements to students or other subscribers. We do not use cookies in those parts of our Numero Apps that are used and accessed by students as a School Customer.
Numero App Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Numero App, to provide the Numero App on our behalf, to perform Numero App-related services and/or to assist us in analysing how our Numero App is used. These parties may also be referred to in parts of this Privacy Policy as our IT Providers.
These third parties may have access to your Personal Information (Public Customers) to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose.
We will not provide any information, including Personal Information, to third parties unless it is required. We will not provide Personal Information to third parties that simply provide the Numero App, such as the Google Store or App Store. We are not responsible for any Personal Information you provide these third parties directly, as a result of acquiring the Numero App.
Communications
We may use your Personal Information (Public Customers) to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send. School Customers will only receive information addressed to their registered contact, or to any other staff who request their name be included for communication purposes.
Compliance With Laws
We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Numero App, to the extent permitted by law.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we will implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, to protect it from access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
Holding your Personal Information
We retain the Personal Information that we collect from and about our subscribers for as long as it is needed to provide access to the site or to manage that individual’s account. We take reasonable steps to delete the Personal Information we collect if your subscription to our site lapses or you opt out of receiving further communications from us, or if you ask us to delete your information. We may however retain and use Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements, or for product and Numero App improvement.

Updating and Accessing your Personal Information
Subscribers have a right to request a copy of the Personal Information we hold about them, and subscribers can also update their Personal Information at any time, in each case by contacting NMPL/IETPL at:

International Transfer
Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Australia and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to Australia and process it there.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from a minor. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your child/children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a minor without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Numero App after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
